About This Training
Operators and governing bodies of drinking water systems are held to a high standard to provide their customers with safe drinking water. One of the inspections that Drinking Water Systems undergo is the Sanitary Survey. This course is designed to help water systems operate and maintain all components of a water system, to provide high-quality, clean, and safe drinking water. Keeping a routine and being mindful of all the elements of a sanitary survey will benefit water system operators and purveyors in protecting public health. The course will cover the 8 essential elements of the Sanitary Survey and how to prepare for each element of the Sanitary Survey, keeping their water systems healthy, safe, and sustainable. This workshop is recommended for system managers, operators, as well as new or seasoned governance members.
